In Andesport we own all the mules we use. Also we assure their right caring with the collaboration of “Foundation Cullunche” and the “World Society for the Protection of Animals”, to ensure animal safeness
Mules are the motor and fuel of logistic services in Aconcagua. They connect the base of the mountain with the base camps. In the hands of the muleteers or “Arrieros”, mules transport all gear, bags, equipment and provisions for climbers and camps. Each mule can carry a maximum of 60 kg, 30 kg on each side. They are trained for transport carefully our equipment
The mules work only three months in the year , the other 9 months of the year the mules rest and eat pasture in country mountain. The mules are animals very important for us.
They work very hard for transport your equipment and provide food to the base camps in the mountain .
The mules services are provided by ourselves, these animals are our property and have passed all health checks and care provided by the Aconcagua Park.
We have obtained the certificates awarded by the Foundation Cullunche nonprofit organization. This organization is responsible for caring for the mules that are working in the Park
