Aconcagua Climbing Permits

To enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park is necessary to get a permit. The same should be handled personally

Climbing Permits Hours Information

Office hours for the sale of permits is Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 am. and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 9:00 to 13:00 pm.
Days 8, 24 and December 31, the opening hours for the sale of permits in
Mendoza City will be open from 9:00 to 13:00 pm. On December 25 and January 01de, the attention of visitors center for the sale of permits will remain closed,
The amount of the permit is not refundable, as prices suffer seasonal variations (low, medium and high).
The schedule of payment to the Aconcagua Provincial Park ranger stations is 8 to 18 hours.

Aconcagua Provincial Park under 14 years can only enter up to Quebrada del Durazno (3,100 m). Minors aged between 14 and 21 years may enter only with permission of both parents, certified by a notary public or competent authority

Minors

Over 14 years until the age of majority in the country of origin (Argentina through 21 years) to obtain permission to enter the Park during the season must submit at the Visitor Service Center authorization from both parents, signed notary public or competent authority and certified by the College of Notaries of the place of residence.

If the child enters the park along with a parent, you must submit an authorization signed by the parent remaining in the same manner described above and the accompanying parent signed at the time of obtaining the license in the Research center, a document declaring that accompanies the child in the issue and that any misfortune that might happen to it, it runs under its responsibility.

The signature of approval by both parents is a condition that excludes countries where parental authority is shared, as is the case of Argentina. In countries where parental authority is indistinct, only require the authorization is signed by the parent who is in charge of the child, accompanied at the time of obtaining the license, certified copy of the document so credited.

If the child is abroad, the authorization must be signed by a notary public and certified, in this case, with the Apostille of the Haya, certification that validates international documents.
