For a better organization we recommend that you prepare your equipment in bulks of 15 Kg, 20 Kg and no more than 30 Kg., this is due too the way we have to balance the bulks on the mule. It is also possible to transport people on the mules to the different base camps, if you wish to do so.
FOR PLAZA DE MULAS
The mules part at approximately 7 a.m. from Puente del Inca and arrive at Plaza de Mulas approximately at noon time. They return in the same day to Puente del Inca.
FOR PLAZA ARGENTINA
The mules depart from Puente del Inca in the morning and arrive at Pampa de Leñas. The next day they leave for Casa de Piedra and arrive in the afternoon. The next day they reach Plaza Argentina.
FOR PLAZA FRANCIA
The trip takes some hours. To Confluencia it is the same as to Plaza de Mulas, then the trail turns to the South Face.
Food service with full board, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Plaza de Mulas base camp (Normal Route) or Plaza Argentina base camp (Polish Glacier Route).
This service is given in mass tents with a capacity for 12-15 people, it works as a restaurante. It normally works with a fixed menu, the lunches and the dinners have as a first plate soup and the main dish varies (some might be vegetables, cheese and ham, pastas, chicken with potatoes, steak with mashed potatoes, many of these meals are accompanied with fresh salads).
The base camp has tents, chairs, tables and electrical lighting.
